radios

i just think they're neat

  • there is literally music going through the air and you can tap in whenever you want
  • for free!! all it takes is the electricity to hear it!
  • there are a lot of advertisements yes but with a little practice you can have a cycle of stations to flip through during each one's ad break
  • sometimes they will tell you stuff between songs, like the weather or road closures or raffles or other cool things

    this list is going to overlap a lot with other lists i have since most things aren't soley radios. but first up! the reason i made this list!

    the geartic submarine one emergency radio!

    it's got a solar panel on top so it will charge by itself, plus it has a crank for when you need more charging than that! (it also just charges regularily with a usb when you have power) it's a battery pack and can charge anything that uses a USB cable! it also has a headphone jack! it's even a flashlight!

    i had to get an emergency radio for a merit badge, and i picked this one because it reminded me of the one Kiki had in Kiki's Delivery Service. and it's such a great radio! its battery life is so incredibly long! it's so small and portable! it's cute! it's great! i love this thing!

    they have actually come out with more recent models since then, but i'm sure they're all just as great as this thing :)
